Royal Send-Off For Blakofe’s Father

Last weekend, family, friends and sympathizers joined former TV Personality Oheneba Akua Ampeah Manfo aka Blakofe (now Deputy CEO at Ghana Tourist Development Company – GTDC) in Asamankese as she laid her father, the late Nana Boakye Asafo-Ageyi, Sanaahene of Asamankese to rest.

The funeral was attended by the top brass of society such as former National Security boss Hon. Francis Poku and current EOCO boss Lawyer KK Amoah.

The NPP were fully represented by an impressive entourage as was the First Lady of Ghana and former President Kuffour.

Media faces spotted included ace actor Bex the Thespian, gospel musician The Prince, Raj of Raj Media and music Producer Nana Frimpong. Also making an appearance at the funeral was the CEO of GTDC, Mr. Kwado Antwi, GTA CEO Mr. Akwesi Agyemang, CEO of Citi FM Mr. Samuel Atta Mensah and newly appointed GCB boss Mr. Ray Sowah.

The Asamankese Chief, Osabarima Adu Darko III, was in full attendance as were other Chiefs from around the country. Indeed it was a regal send-off. May Nana rest in perfect peace.
