President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo caused a sensation with his artful dance moves to Gospel songs  during a special thanksgiving service at Juaben in the Ashanti Region yesterday to commemorate the appointment and election of the Omanhene of the area as Chairman of the Council of State.

The highly elated President, for the third time, took to the dancing floor to display his skills in highlife dance with his host, Nana Otuo Siriboe II.

In a short speech, President Akufo-Addo said the election of Nana Otuo Siriboe II as Chairman of the Council of State was one fulfilling heart desire that had given him a lot of satisfaction.

According to him, “If you ask me what has been the one thing that I feel I’ve been most satisfied with and most fulfilling, it is the fact that this honest and sincere man who tells things as they are got elected chairman after I had appointed him one of the Council of State members. It falls within the president's prerogative,” he said.

“Any leader needs a councilor who is straightforward, sincere and truthful in all situations, and Nana Otuo Siriboe II is one of such people,” he added.

In his response, the Council of State Chairman praised President Akufo-Addo for his honest leadership and commitment to make Ghana one of the best countries in the world.

He pledged to be candid in his counseling of the president as mandated by the Constitution and added that he would work in unity with all members of the Council.

According to him, as part of his efforts to help President Akufo-Addo to succeed, he had earmarked a two-square mile land to be used as free zone enclave to support the government in the establishment of factories and agenda of job creation.

Nana Siriboe appealed to President Akufo-Addo to create a new district for the Juaben Traditional Area since it has the numbers, while recounting the contribution of the Juaben Constituency to the electoral fortunes of the president and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
