The Reset Button

The Reset Button
27.04.2017 LISTEN

You've been living your life dwelling in the past. You are letting the actions, inactions, bad deeds, wrong decisions, failure and fear from yesterday torment you and tear your brightest moments in life called today apart, WHY?

You failed yesterday and you were sad, why bring that sadness to today, there is a good reason yesterday is gone.

There is no good reason to believe that tomorrow will be a better day, because tomorrow is never guaranteed neither is the past meant to stay.

The negative yesterday is gone because it would've torn us apart if we were to stay there forever.

I'm here today to give you a good reason why each brand new today is a new begining. Yesterday may have been bad for you but that is not the reason you should be scared. Yesterdays negativities are to guide you on a fresh page of life known as today not to repeat the same mistakes but we rather let the past hold us still filled with fear and anxiety of what tomorrow will bring, yet we know not what the next micro or macro second has in stock for us, why such heavy burdens? Just as we have margins in new excersice books, so are negativities from yesterday supposed to be for us on our todays.

Each night after a long day's work, when you lay your head to sleep with the hope of resting well and waking up to see a new day, there is one important thing that happens to you which you are not aware of, your life hits a reset button to get you prepared for a brand new day. Your life goes through a reset process where you can have a fresh start, today, and you wouldn't have to worry about the worries of yesterday.

Taking your bath and brushing your teeth every morning may be a physical and normal routine for you but it goes beyond what you think. You go through these routines to wash away all the residues of yesterday's dirt in your life, so why all the struggles and cries over what the past has taken away from you for good reasons.

The next time negativity from yesterday comes knocking at your door of today, let him understand that the person he had issues with lived there yesterday and yesterday is gone with him for good.

Thank you.
