Mr John Adu-Boahen, Chairman of the Parent/Teacher Association (PTA), said 25 million cedis have so far been spent on the project. Mr James Adusei Sarkodie, the immediate past Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya who initiated the project last year, donated 20 bags of cement while the district assembly has also pledged extra 20 bags of cement.

Mr Adu-Boahen said citizens are financing the project through voluntary contributions.
