First Atlantic Bank inaugurates two new branches

Accra, March 29, GNA - First Atlantic Bank Limited has opened two new ultra-modern branches at Dzorwulu and the Ring Road in Accra to provide its customers with convenient banking.

The opening of the branches forms part of the banks expansion drive aimed to bring its services to the door steps of customers to enable them enjoy the unparallel services.

Speaking at the event, Mrs Karen Akiwumi-Tanoh, Board Chairman of the Bank, said the bank's strategic objective was to grow the network with excellent services and expressed the hope to add about five branches more to bring the total to 31 branches by the end of the year.

He said the bank took pride in the quality of its staff and would continue to strive to give customers excellent service delivery.

'We are bringing to Dzorwulu and all surrounding areas our branded purple experience, with distinctive and differentiated service delivery with dedicated staff at every touch point,' she added.

Mrs Akiwumi-Tanoh said the branch came with a full-fledged services offering corporate, commercial and retail banking as well as electronic services.

'Our focus is to create banking institution that is responsive to the needs of customers with international trade facilitation as our strength, supporting our customers with trade finance and export of goods,' she said.

She said the bank would continue to uphold its value preposition by identifying customers' needs and providing the needed value addition to the services.

'We at First Atlantic Bank have set ourselves the broad objective of creating an institution that is responsive to the needs of our customers. 'We have therefore positioned the Bank as a partner for Individuals, Businesses and other corporate institutions across the length and breadth of the country,' she said.

Mr Odun Odunfa, the Managing Director of the Bank, said their outfit was determined to bring superior services to customers through efficient and simple transactions.

He urged the prospective customers to patronise its products.

He assured customers that the Bank would continue to develop innovative products to meet their needs.

Mr Raymond Amanfo, the Head of Banking Supervision, Bank of Ghana, who was the guest of honour at the opening of the Ring Road Branch, said the Bank should ensure that it met the needs of clients in an efficient and reliable manner.

He urged the bank's management to ensure that the staffs were well versed in the banking processes and procedures so as not to fall foul of the law.

The opening of the Dzorwulu and the Ring Road Central branches brings to 25 the brick and mortar channels.
