Word Digest : Make A Move

"Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you."[Genesis 13:17] NIV

Abram and his nephew, ,Lot both owned some livestock . Both men had herdsmen but the land could not accommodate them.

Later both relatives separated because a squabble arose between the herdsmen of Abram and that of Lot's men too.

As a result they separated from each other. Lot went to a district of Jordan (before Jehovah destroyed Sod'om and Go-mor'ah) where he moved his camp there.

However the Lord promised Abram and his generations the land of Ca'naan. In making the promise a reality Abram made a move of prayer for the land flowing with milk and honey which he was yet to see. In subsequent chapters that dream materialised.

Beloved God always promises and lead his children to the fulfillment of his plan. Abram believed and worked for it. Spiritually Abram made a move of prayer to secure the promised land.

Today I encourage you to lift up a prayer, secure every promise God has destine for you, your family and friends and the nation as a whole. Whoever and wherever you are, make a move of prayer to secure goodness and God's promises.
