MAR 16, 2017 LISTEN

This article is a revelation from the Most High God giving a spiritual interpretation of the political battle1 of President Nana Addo as well as a prediction of the future governance of Ghana. The revelation (as outilned is this article) can be divided into four different part, each of them having a significant spiritual impact.

Blessed is he who reads this article, who hears the words of this revelation and who keeps the things which are written in it, for the time of Ghana’s spiritual and socio-economic revival is near.

1. THE BATTLE OF THE 2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
During the 2012 Presidential Election, Nana Akuffo-Addo showed an exemplary commitment to Ghana’s political stability. His decision to contest the electoral results through legal procedures constituted a gateway to the preservation of peace in Ghana.

In addition, it established Ghana as a torch bearer and fervent proponent of democracy throughout the African continent for decades to come. Thus in light of all this, it is important to offer a spiritual insight into the 2012 presidential election’s outcome. In fact, despite having lost the elections in the eyes of men, Nana Akuffo-Addo won the victory of peace in the eyes of God. The Bible emphasizes the point without mincing words when it says:

“And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness” (James 3:18).

Indeed, this Scripture was fulfilled in Akuffo-Addo’s decision to go through the legal means as well as accepting the subsequent verdict from Ghana’s Supreme Court. It was a seed of peace planted thereby establishing in the spiritual realm a harvest of righteousness for both the 2016 election as well as the future elections to come in Ghanaian democracy. Noticeably, this harvest of righteousness through Akuffo-Addo’s exemplary decisions constitute a stepping stone to redefining Ghana’s political arena in the future (both in terms of its institutions as well as the practices of political leaders).

2. THE BATTLE OF 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
1 Akufo-Addo’s long journey to presidency.
The initial fruits of the harvest of righteousness can clearly be seen in the 2016 presidential election. During the 2016 presidential election, God confirmed the victory that was accredited to him (Nana Akuffo-Addo) in the year 2012 in the eyes of men and God has crowned him as a father of peace. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace of all humanity and President Nana Akuffo-Addo is the prince of peace for the country Ghana. The source of this prophecy is founded and enrooted in the book of Isaiah 9:6 (King James Version)

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”.

Glory be to God: Now unto Ghanaians a president is elected and all social and economic problems shall rest upon his shoulder and his name is peace maker and the father of peace. This affirmation is in sync with President Akuffo-Addo’s behavior demonstrated during the 2012 election by accepting a painful defeat just to avoid any eventual national disturbances.

God is seeking for spirit filled, God fearing and Christ-like leaders to lay the foundation for future leaders who will be a model through the legacy of President Nana Akuffo-Addo as a God fearing and spirit filled leader.

3. TERM OF OFFICE
The third revelation concerns President Akuffo-Addo’s four years term of office. It is revealed that the President shall encounter some health related problems which will instigate a call to national prayer. Through the prayers of the nation, he will overcome and end his first term of office. The favor of God shall lead him to win the next presidential election that will be in 2020. The end of his term will be a legacy of faithfulness, righteousness and loyalty to future Ghanaian politicians and to leaders in general.

4. FUTURE GOVERNANCE OF GHANA: CHRIST-LIKE POLITICAL LEADERSHIP

The fourth revelation concerns the spiritual status of the future governance of Ghana.

The Lord revealed to me in the year 2014 that about 60 percent of future leaders will be Christ-like (becoming more like Christ is the desire of every believer and it is encouraging to know that God has the same desire for the leaders as well. In fact, the Bible says that God “predestined [believers] to be conformed to the likeness of his Son [Jesus Christ]” (Romans 8:29). In the same vein, leaders should be conformed to this same Christ-likeness.

There are three things which contribute to being Christ-like: (1) our surrender to God, (2) our freedom from sin and corruption and (3) our spiritual growth.

1) Surrender to God
Becoming more Christ-like is the result of surrendering to God. Romans 12:1-2 says that worship involves a total self-dedication to God. We volunteer our bodies as “living

sacrifices,” and our minds are renewed and transformed.

2) Freedom from sin and corruption
Becoming more Christlike is the result of freedom from sin and corruption. Jesus lived a sinless and blameless life. So to be Christ-like would mean following his example which can be summed up in the statement : the more we consider ourselves “dead to sin and corruption” (Romans 6:11) and live a life of purity, the more we become Christ-like. Hence, Ghana is seeking for such Christ-like leaders (leaders filled with the spirit of God such as Joseph and Daniel).

Jesus invites us to follow Him, and we have His example of obedience (John 15:10), sacrificial love (John 15:12-13), and patient suffering (1 Peter 2:19-23). We also have the example of the apostles such as Paul, who modeled Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1).

3) Spiritual growth.
Becoming more Christ-like implies leaders accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord of their lives. It is only then that the Christ-like nature could be reflected in all they do. When we (leaders) are first saved from unacceptable acts (such as corruption, anti-social activites etc.), we are immature in wisdom and knowledge and inexperienced in grace and love. But then, we grow. In the growth process, our charge is to become stronger—and more Christ-like. “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). “May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else” (1 Thessalonians 3:12).

Conclusion.
God shall put his spirit upon them to carry the economic and social burden of the nation.

As God spoke to Moses concerning the seventy elders of Israel, so is God calling for Christ-like leaders to carry the social and economic burden of our country Ghana.

We have a clear responsibility to be the agents of Christ and his kingdom here on earth. Our goal is to answer Jesus’ prayer that his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May our political engagement be as Christians, not as partisans and may we never forget that God always wins.
