New Abirim police cry for support

New Abirim (E/R), Mar 10, GNA - The police in New Abirim have appealed for strong public support to tackle the serious office and residential accommodation challenge they are facing.

Police Superintendent Emmanuel Amoah, the Commander, said they needed more office space to smoothly operate.

Making the appeal through the Ghana News Agency (GNA), he indicated that the congestion at the police station, resulting from inadequate offices, gave cause for concern.

He also spoke of the difficulty of housing officers and men posted to the place and asked that everything was done to resolve this.

Supt Amoah invited the district assembly, individuals and organizations to step in to assist improve the situation.

He gave the assurance of their determination to continue to work hard and with passion, to provide everybody in the area with adequate security protection in spite of the trying conditions under which, they were working.
