Arise Ghana Youth For Your Country composed by JMT Dosoo as his contribution to the idea and cause called GHANA.Together with Ephraim Amu’s ‘Y3n Ara Asaase Ni’ and ‘God Bless Bless Our Homeland Ghana by Philip Gbeho,these Patriotic Songs sought to endear We,The Sons and Daughter of Black-Star-Land to Our-Beloved Country,and to instill in us a sense of Pariotism and Love for the Nation and Love for Each-Other.His Excellency,Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo,President,The Republic of Ghana and Current Occupant of the Precious-Black-Star-Throne.God Bless Him.HE Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumi,Vice President and Future-President of Our Republic. IN SHA ALLAH! KOKROKOO;Otiko-Djaba,She Is A Star,Ghana-Black-Star!Madam Hajia Samira Ramadan Bawumia,She’s A Revelation and A Ghana-Black-Star! May God Protect Them And Especially Dr and Mrs Bawumia from those who tried to Eliminate Dr Bawumia in 2013 and 2016 and others who may still harbor such intentions both within and outside the NPP.For We All Know That Some of the man’s enemies are parading the Corridors of Power even as I type.

There are those within the NPP who think that Alhaji Bawumia jumped the line of succession as if the party is an inheritance.After all Judas like Jesus was a Jew.The Romans may have crucified Jesus of Nazareth his betrayal through a Jew.May God Protect Alhaji Bawumia from every potential Judas in the party for the man has suffered a lot; personally, professionally and for the party in order to get to his current position of Vice President. “The Battle Is For The Lord!”2 Corinthians 20:15b.In the words of a great author Viktor Frankly for his book Man’s Quest For Meaning, “What Is To Give Light Must Endure Burning.”SELAH.

Sixty years in anybody’s life regardless of the person’s sex,race,creed,tribe,ethnicity is monumental therefore 60yrs in Ghana’s Life/Existence Must Be Celebrated in Style;After all We are the Sons and Daugthers of the Gold Coast;Land of Black-Gold and the Black-Star.Official celebration of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana commences March 6^th,2017 and continues hopefully till December 31^st 2017 through such efforts as volunteering for the handicapped and disabled.By Style though I don’t mean just throwing money about indiscriminately like the Charles Wereko-Brobbey led Ghana@50 committee in 2007.What I’m referring to hear is deepening the sense of Patriotism and Love for the Nation that has been on the decline for sometime now.By style,I mean mobilizing the youth to step our game up and actively partake in the continuous growth of our-beloved-country.

Like Kwame Nkrumah did back in the era of independence and its immediate aftermath,the youth must once again DREAM, and feel like The Nation, whether or not she Rises to attain its promise depends on us. The President started this effort through his inaugural speech which unfortunately got tainted by allegations of plagiarism.Unlike Nkrumah,however, the youth must know that Respect for our elders must be Fused on with any sense of Vibrant-Activism. I am a personal admirer of Kwame Nkrumah for what he together with the Big Six and other Pioneers contributed to the cause of Self-Governance and outright rejection of Dominion and Domination regardless of the perks that came with it.

I am also a fan of his for his achievements both National in Ghana and Internationally in AfriKa until he decided to turn the Nation into Mao Zedong’s China with a decree for a one party state with him Nkrumah as the sole occupant of the Black-Star-Throne. As we celebrate 60years of progress albeit slow progress compared to other counties which embarked on this exercise of self-governance around the same period ; President NADAA whose kinsmen along with the relatives of many others in the NPP,NDC,PP,CPP,. participated actively in the fight for independence must know that gaining the opportunity to self-rule doesn’t equal progress.He must also know that having relatives in the early governments of our republic doesn’t necessarily Translate into being a Great Head of State Onaapo Mahama has shown us.

Above All, His Excellency, The President must learn from the mistakes of the previous NPP government under Ex-President John Agyekum Kufuor that personnel equals competence equals success and having the right people in the right positions in the right organizations is vital for the success of his administration.In my opinion, the two most outstanding governments of Ghana so far were the Kufuor and Nkrumah administration,that is before Nkrumah’s decension into ‘Pharoahism’ forgetting that Ghana was the Land of Black-Stars and not Mummies.Personnel with executive and management defects like Charles Wereko Brobbey must be eschewed for competent ones with sharp executive acumen like Paa Kwasi Nduom.Charles Wereko-Brobbey,before the coming of Onaapo Mahama and Opuni of Cocoaboard fame was the single most incompetent executive I had known about in this world and God knows I’ve been around.

The man is as brillian as it comes but as defective as it gets in the running of any organization let alone one as Volta River Authority.From Casely-Hayford to Kalitsi to Kirk Kofie; Tarzan as Monsieur Wereko-Brobbey is popularly called is the most unproductive CEO,VRA has ever had.Personally,my administration for his intelligence and activism especially under the Rawlings regime is enormous but I wouldn’t hire the man to run a Toy-Store let alone a prominent organization like VRA and the Ghana @ 50 Secretariat as President did.The man is a policy-wonk and an ideas man but belongs no where near anybody’s business.He belongs in a Think-Thank where his brains could be tapped but make him head like Franklin Cudjoe of IMANI and you are guaranteed a rapid decline in its fortunes.

Unfortunately,Dr Wereko-Brobbey whose uncle Victor Owusu mentored a young JA Kufuor in his law chambers and whose mum is rumored to have to have been a prominent educationist in the Ashanti Region during Mr Kufuor’s childhood had become a ‘tick’ in the flesh of the Kufuor Administration.Everybody recognized his ineffectiveness and inefficiency as CEO but little could be done about it since his ties to the President Kufuor and his family both personally and professionally run so deep. Salvation would come later in the Kufuor Administration through his firing from VRA by none other than Dr. Paa Kwasi Nduom (Edwumawura) who had become the minister of the sector only to resurface years later as CEO of Ghana @50 celebrations.Good Riddance! Somebody Please tell Ex President John Dramani Mahama that his first born is on the streets of Hartford and Southington in need of serious medical help.Happy Independence To Us All.God Bless Our Homeland Ghana!.
