Blakk Rasta Visits Northern Chief In Atlanta

Blakk Rasta, the most talented reggae artist and an activist, yesterday called on his lordship, the chief of the Association of Northern Ghanaians in Georgia, chief Bin Iddirisu to pay homage.

The sensational reggae star has been touring the United States and giving lectures to various universities on African culture. So far, he has been to the University of Central Missouri and the University of North Carolina where he offered several lectures and musical performances to enthusiastic crowds.

Blakk Rasta who hails from Northern Ghana said he could not be in Atlanta without paying tribute to chief Bin who is the ceremonial figure head representing the three northern regions in the state of Georgia. He then presented a CD of his latest album entitled “Kuchoko Revolution” to the chief. Chief Bin on his part expressed his appreciation to the reggae king and commended him for being outspoken and a role model to a lot of young Ghanaians. He further advised Black Rasta to use his music to positively impact society.

Blakk Rasta demonstrated a high sense of patriotism by deciding to participate in this year’s Ghana’s independence celebration activities in Atlanta Georgia before proceeding on his tour to Guyana in South America. He is expected to return to Ghana at the end of the month of March.
