Accra, March 1, GNA - The Greater Accra Regional branch of the Prempeh College Old Students Association (Amanfoo) had constructed a three-storey dormitory with masters bungalow for the school to enhance teaching and learning.

The association had also donated computers and accessories to the school to whip up the enthusiasm of the students to undertake Information and Communication Technology (ICT) course.

Mr Kwabena Nyarko, the President of the Association, disclosed this at the association's meeting in Accra on Tuesday.

He said the association had instituted scholarship to support brilliant but needy students of the school to enable them to complete their course of study.

Mr Nyarko said the association had initiated a number of projects which included renovation works and the expansion of the dining hall.

He commended Tullow Oil for providing funds to support the school's Science, Technology, English and Mathematics (STEM) project to help increase science performance.

Mr Nyarko advised the students to be disciplined and take their education seriously to enable them to achieve their future aspirations.

Professor Agyemang Badu Akosa, former Director-General of Ghana Health

Service and an old student of the school, called on Ghanaians to take active interest in physical education and also control their eating habits to enable them to be healthy at all times.
