The New President of Ghana, His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo will this March 16th declared open the first international Ghana business summit focusing on the Housing and Tourism market. The summit is the first ever privately packaged with government institution exclusively dedicated to opening the opportunities within the Housing and Tourism industry, trade and investment ties, and has confirmed the participation of President Akufo-Addo.

The event will take place on the heel-end of the Commonwealth Africa Summit, London 2017.

The 4th Commonwealth Africa Summit (2017) will hold in London from the 13th - 15th March 2017. Visit www.casevents.org/cas2017 for more details.

During the summit the President and other international leaders will participate in the wreath laying ceremony and the Commonwealth Day Observance Service with Her Majesty - The Queen and other members of the Royal Family.

H.E President Nana Akufo Addo and other Commonwealth Leaders will deliver Keynotes at the Summit.

The Commonwealth Africa Summit gathers leading entrepreneurs, former and serving heads of governments, senior government officials, commonwealth leaders, civil society organisations, investors, and leading executives to facilitate dialogue and action on key and relevant issues ranging from trade and investment, entrepreneurship and job creation, economic development, Security and counterterrorism, Energy and Power amongst other relevant issues in Africa and the Commonwealth.

The son of a former President of Ghana (ceremonial 1969 - 1972), was born in Nima, a suburb of Accra. Nima is a residential town in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The town is popular because of its market - the Nima market

The Ghana summit focuses on Housing and Tourism which sees Nima as a destination among hundreds. It has a large number of migrant workers from rural Ghana & neighbouring countries as they find it a visible tourist place to visit and appreciated the cultural & religious diversity of the community. Nima is a prime example that people of numerous nationalities can actually co-exist in peace.

"We are honoured and excited that the new President team has approved and confirmed his attendance to the summit," said Alistair Soyode, Executive Director Europe's and UK's first ethnic media company BEN Television. "He is a pan-African leader with a pedigree to rebuild Africa's story positively and promote the alternative to job creation and wealth for the development of Ghana and Africa at large."

The Ghana Tourism Board executive said the event will help bolstered its hospitality industry to innovation and creative packages to stimulate more Diaspora engagement and international stakeholders' participations.

The supporting organisers believe the investment summit will capitalizes on a wave of interest and policies to open up Ghana for business offered by the new administration of President Nana. Ghana's Rehoboth and Kouttam property companies and Africa Regent Hotel are already showing an interest in places where their services and strategic business can bring value towards the development and investment into Ghana Diaspora market and community.
