Northern Region: 29 Year Old Man Arrested For Robbry At Banda Nkwanta

The police in northern region has arrested a 29 year old armed robber, Joe Ezimbasiri at Banda Nkwanta in the Bole Bamboi District for robbing two riders on Tuesday January 17.

The victims Mohammed Ahmed and a colleague were riding motor bikes when Joe attacked them and took a way a total amount of 320 Ghana cedis and mobile phones.

This was revealed by the northern regional police Public Relations Officer,(PRO) ASP Ebenezer Tetteh in an interview with themodernGhanaonline in his office on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Mr. Ebenezer Tetteh, at 9:00 am on Tuesday January 17th, 2017, Joe Ezimbasari met Mohammed Ahmed who was on a motorbike and attacked him robbing him 300 Cedis after which he attacked another rider too taking a way 20 cedis totaling 320 Ghana cedis and mobile phones.

He said issues of robbery is becoming serious on Banda Nkwanta stretch due to the galamsey activities in the area and the police are doing all they can to bring it under control.

And advised people in the area to be vigilant and also report any criminal behavior they foresee in anyone in that area.
