There is no denying the fact that Ghana is a peaceful country and the beacon of West Africa and beyond. It is a world wide fact that Ghana has a well deep rooted democracy that has made her an epitome of African countries and the whole world at large.

The peace that characterizes mother Ghana is as a result of an outgrowth of the enlighten and discerning leaders who are visionary and poised for the progress of our country Ghana. This has manifested itself through the smooth and peaceful transition of power from one government to another as result of our deep rooted democracy.

Ladies and Gentlemen, albeit we are enjoying peace in this country, there is the need for Ghanaians to unanimously organize a funeral ceremony to morn the death of common sense in some individuals who have remained unrelenting and unrepentant in taking the laws of the country into their own hands hence creating an avenue to destroying the democracy that has given birth to the peace we are enjoying in this country.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the lawless acts that have been rehearsed and showcased by some unscrupulous individuals and groups of the New Patriotic Party after they have been declared winners in the December 7 election 2016, should not be condoned in this country. I am tempted to believe that these individuals and groups of the NPP are fed up with the magnitude of peace they are enjoying in this country and for that matter, their decision to seize offices in an unapproved way to cause mayhem.

I become terrifically flabbergasted when leadership of the NPP reluctantly and nonchalantly condemned this uncharitable act. Surprisingly, my eyes were filled with tears when some of the members of parliament implicitly trying to justify the incongruous, uncouth and insalubrious act perpetuated by their party chairmen and invisible forces. What kind of leadership are they demonstrating for we the young ones to emulate?

I am unequivocally sure that they will vehemently try to refute the issues raised but the simple question to vindicate myself is, of what necessity is it to juxtapose this unpalatable act committed now by their members to that of the NDC's regime when leadership swiftly condemned and acted to curtail it? This question insinuates their (the NPP) justification of this unwarranted act.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is ridiculous when the NPP endlessly parading themselves as brilliant, intelligent, wise, competent etc. These self eulogies and flamboyant words do not reflect in anyway, their actions and inactions either than the negative ways. It is laughable for a party with the so called "status" to repeat a condemnable act that was committed by members of an "incompetent party" like NDC. This is really an irony.

The swift and smart reaction and determination of our gallant security personnel against this uncultured behaviour is highly commendable. The arrest of the uninformed NPP chairmen and other members of the party against the violence seizure of some offices is a step in the right direction. Law and order must indeed be maintained in a peaceful country like ours and any unscrupulous individuals or groups who out of their parochial interest, think that they can take the law into their own hands must be made to face the full rigours of the law.

In fact, I don't understand why right thinking human being should indulge in such act. There is no where that right thinking person will ever do such a thing. The last time I checked, there were some lay down procedures one need to follow to get employed or is it that the change has come with a change of procedures to recruiting employees?

Interesting indeed. Ladies and Gentlemen, for all you know some of those people don't even have the valid credentials to offer them the jobs they are seeking.

Ghana is bigger than any political party. We must therefore resist vehemently to any individual or groups in any political party who might think that Ghana is their party and so might be tempted to exhibit those barbaric acts they exhibited in their party.

In conclusion, I applaud the security personnel for the good job done. Let me hasten to add that you must not relent in anyway to ensuring that all the perpetuators of this unlawful act are brought to book. I also entreat leadership of the NPP to stop juxtaposing this act of mediocrity and call their party chairmen and the entire members to order to safe mother Ghana from any looming danger. Thank you.
