Electricity Company pip Judicial Service in a friendly

Cape Coast, Mar 29, GNA - Cape Coast Electricity Company football team beat the Judicial Service football team by a lone goal in a special soccer match played at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium in Cape Coast to climax the annual celebration of the Judicial Service Staff Association (JUSAG) Week.

The Association used the occasion to outdoor a new set of jerseys donated by Mr Barton Oduro, a Cape Coast lawyer.

Mr. Felix Eddie Quansah, Chairman of the Association thanked Mr Oduro, Justice K.K. Acquaye, the Supervising Judge, Lawyers Harry Hayford and Arthur Dadzie for their contributions and moral support towards the promotion of soccer and phical execises among its members in the Municipality.

The electricity lads after a goalless first half took control of the match on resumption of the second half and scored the match winner in the 79th minute through their midfielder, Kojo Fletcher.

In the 80th minute, JUSAG forced the tide in their favour with their attackers led by George Ayensu creating several scoring chances but they failed to utilise them till the final whistle.
