Accra, Jan. 1, GNA - Reverend David Ampadu Berkoh, the Senior Pastor of the Berean Assemblies of God, has admonished Christians to renew their commitment to the Lord by obeying His word.
Speaking at the watch night service of the Church, the Senior Pastor encouraged the gathering to worship the Lord in truth and in spirit.
He said: "The secret of success is obeying the word of God and getting closer to Him."
Rev Berkoh asked the congregation to desist from the habit of worshipping the Lord once or twice in a year.
He noted: "Some people come to church once in a year thus 31st night and some come twice thus during Easter and 31st Night."
Speaking on the theme: "The Choice of Life," Rev Berkoh advised congregants to choose the obedience of God because there are more blessing in that.
The Senior Pastor led the congregation into 45 minutes of prayer ahead of the New Year.
