The 30 under 30 awards was initiated by Future of Ghana, a community development arm of Mefiri Ghana Ltd, to showcase and celebrate excellence by recognising the exceptional talent of Ghana’s Top 30 under 30 Pioneers leading in industries globally.

Why?
The emerging leaders of African descent form one of the most innovative segments of society. Their skill, innovation and talent is shaping policy, impacting businesses and stimulating the enterprise sector throughout Africa and the Diaspora. The Future of Ghana creates a trusted platform uniting such talent for the development of Ghana and Africa at large.

The Future of Ghana publication transcends stereotypes, highlighting the unsung contributions of future leaders and organisations that are making contributions to the Ghanaian and global economies. It has been endorsed by prominent business leaders and government.

We hereby call on you to nominate someone or yourself for the privilege to be selected among the prestigious 30 Under 30 that will be featured in the 2017 publication.

Criteria for nomination:

  1. Who can be nominated for the award?
  1. Must be aged 30 years or younger (as of 6th March 2017)
  2. Be Ghanaian (born in Ghana or Ghanaian through birth, via a parent(s) or grandparent(s))

  1. Please use the following characteristics as a guide when explaining your reasons for nomination:

- Motivational: Someone who helps to get the best out of others and themselves

- Visionary: Someone who has a desired future outlook of a product or service they wish to or are a part of providing

- Role Model: Someone people look up to. A person who inspires others as a result of something they have done or are doing

- Social Influence/Impact: Someone who as a result of what they do/have done, have a positive of influence within a community

- Ambitious: Someone who has demonstrated the will to succeed and/or shown a willingness to learn, especially from failures

- Communication Skills: Someone who demonstrates their ability to listen to others and as a result helps find solutions to problems for individuals/groups & communities
