Importers Trained On Use Of Cash Xpress Card

With the growing need for trade to be made simpler, faster and easier, the Ghana National Single Window (GNSW) team has started a nationwide training of declarants, importers and exporters on the newly introduced Cash Xpress Card.

The training, which took place yesterday at Tema, Kotoka International Airport (KIA), Aflao, Elubo and Takoradi, also involved major stakeholders in the trade industry.

West Blue Consulting, in partnership with Ecobank Ghana, recently introduced the GNSW Ecobank CashXPress Card to speed up the payment of duties and charges by exporters and importers at the ports.

The card, which is a reloaded prepaid, offers a new, convenient and secure way to make trade payments on the Ghana National Single Window (GNSW) platform.

Participants commended Single Window for the introduction of the CashXpress Card, which makes payment of charges easier and convenient.

According to them, the training also afforded them the opportunity to ask lingering questions on their minds regarding the card.

The participants were also trained on Ghana’s Trading Hub Help Desk Ticketing System, where complaints or suggestions can now be done seamlessly.

The GNSW CashXPress card is available at all Ecobank Ghana branches, and West Blue Office and its ezones located at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) and Tema Harbour.

The card is also available on the e-payment platform of Ghana’s trading hub.
