Chief urges assembly's support against illegal land development

Twifo Praso (C/R), March 14, GNA - An appeal has gone to Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira district assembly to refrain from issuing building permits to land developers, who fail to produce relevant documents from the Twifo-Atti Morkwa Traditional Council. Nana Kwesi Kenin II, president of the Council, made the appeal at a meeting held at Twifo-Praso on Saturday.

He said reports reaching the Council, indicated that some land developers had obtained permits from the assembly to put up buildings. He reiterated that all stool lands at Twifo-Praso belong to the traditional Council and that those wishing to acquire such lands must first seek approval from the council.
