Former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Prof Stephen Adei has dismissed reports that he described President John Mahama as “incompetent and a liar.”
According to Prof Adei the said report, which is circulating on social media is a complete fallacy and should be disregarded by the public.
In a statement copied to Myjoyonline.com, the former rector said “I would wish to categorically deny having stated, ‘I say no to John Mahama; He’s incompetent and a liar!
“Even the purported quotation was a doctored reportage in a newspaper from a sermon I gave at the first Baptist Church in Tema about two years ago,” the statement added.
He further stated in the statement that “…I condemn such action and irresponsible language, especially in the current political climate, in no uncertain terms. I wish to apologise to his Excellency the President for any harm such malicious actions may cause him.
