Sections of Ghanaians in Australia as well as Australia Branch of NPP are jubilant about the nomination of Hon Kofi Osei-Ameyaw MP for Asuogyaman and Former GHANA CONSUL-GENARAL IN AUSTRALIA as Deputy Minister of Trade and Industries. Kofi Osei as he is populaly Known in Australia is a Lawyer by profession and the first African to be addmitted to the State of New South Wales (NSW) Bar. Kofi is a product of St Augustine's College Cape Cost and Macquarie University, Sydney. Hon. Kofi Osei holds the qualification of BA/LLB. Kofi was a director and Partner of Lloyds College, Sydney, Director /Partner of Caprock Int'l Pty Ltd and a Barrister and senior partner at Downing Chambers (a law firm in Sydney). Hon Kofi Osei has previously held the position of the President of the Ghanaian Association of New South Wales, as well as the President of the African Community Council. I believe given his background and experience in business, Hon Kofi Osei will do well for all Ghanaians.
