By GNA

New Edubiase (Ash), Feb. 7, GNA - Mr Dominic Alfred Kwaku Yeboah, acting District Chief Executive (DCE) for Adansi South, has cautioned against politicisation of the activities of the Non-Formal Education Division (NFED) of the Ministry of Education and Sports.

He said under no circumstance should anyone hide behind the programmes of the Division to pursue hidden political agenda. Mr Yeboah was speaking at an awards ceremony at New Edubiase to honour 33 facilitators of the NFED for their hard work and dedication.

They were presented with bicycles, sewing machines and bundles of roofing sheets, all valued at more than 24 million cedis. The acting DCE told the people to concentrate on the primary goal of assisting the adult illiterate to read and write at least in their own language.
