Tema, Jan 31, GNA -- The driver of a car that collided with a saloon car has been fined 1.2 million cedis by the Tema circuit court 'A'. Kwabena Ashietey Stephen pleaded guilty to four counts of driving an uninsured vehicle and negligently causing harm and will go to jail for one year in default.
Chief Inspector Matilda Tetteh told the court that on August 31, 2004, while driving from Ayikuma to Agomada the accused drove out of his lane and collided with a private saloon car, injuring a reverend minister who was driving the saloon car.
