Accra bourse ends nearly flat

Accra, Jan. 26, GNA - The Accra bourse ended trading on Wednesday nearly flat, as the equities on the market remained dull. The GSE All-Share Index, the main stock index, inched up by 0.2 points at 6,895.18 points.

Change for the year was 1.42 per cent.

Shares that changed hands ended at 530,300 from at 135,000. There were three price changes, two up one down.

Starwin Products Limited lost 10 cedis at 750 cedis, Ghana Commercial Bank rose by seven cedis at 11,887 cedis and Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) went up by four cedis to close at 6,654 cedis. Market capitalisation closed lower at 97,878.47 billion cedis from 3,663.42 million issued shares.
