It was once said by mother Teresa (a Roman Catholic nun and missionary) that “If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one and unless a life is lived for others, it is not worthwhile", this faithful expressions was what madam Esther Naa Baden widely known as Georgina kaneshie Market in Hamburg, Germany did whenever she is on holidays in Ghana.

Esther Naa Baden aka Georgina a strong and stanch Christian who believes what the scriptures says about orphans which include many verses discussing orphans, which the Lord asks Christians to be kind and generous to the fatherless children of the world, which Esther Naa Baden for over a decade’s has make it a point to support orphanage homes in Ghana especially Osu children home and children hospital.

This time around in Ghana, the owner of the most popular and known Afro-Shop in Hamburg, Germany decided to support another orphanage group outside Accra which she believes that as humans ‘we cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love’.

The centre of attraction for Georgina-kaneshie market in Hamburg, Germany was–WEEP NOT CHILD FOUNDATION located in Ahwerase-Damang, Nsawam in the South Akwapim District in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The items which include bags of rice, maize, sugar, water, cooking oil, biscuits, pegs, tin tomatoes, toiletries, towels as well as plastic blows and plates for the up-keep of the foundation.

According to Georgina, who is also a member of GaDangme Europe , many children are separated from their parents due to natural disasters, disease, and poverty. Also other children are left behind in maternity wards because they are born with “imperfections.” Parents of all of these children are surely heartbroken to let them go but they have been pressured by circumstance and cultural rejection.

She advice government agency and all and sundry to find out the root causes of the orphan crisis so that we can keep many children from ever becoming orphans because children are gift from God and we must show them love irrespective of “the situation”.
