No Heaven for Artificially Beardless and Bald-headed Men! (Part I)—Letter to a Reader in Ghana

No Heaven for Artificially Beardless and Bald-headed Men! Part I—Letter to a Reader in Ghana
10.07.2016 LISTEN

Dear Kyei: Thank you for the comments you posted for me after reading my article titled “No Heaven for Artificially Beardless and Bald-headed Men!” which was published in my column on the Modern Ghana website not long ago. I wish to respond to them in this same medium so other readers may benefit from your thoughts and mine. In order to proceed safely in this regard, I’d like to quote your posted comments here, as follows:

This is a very controversial topic as it demands deep critiquing and fair analysis with regards to getting closer to our Maker and what He expects from us—His servants.

I find it very difficult pinpointing a particular or specific reference or backing in which you have used to defend your arguments therein.

Many believers I think will find it difficult in agreeing with you since for me you didn't sound very convincing enough for me to be on the same grounds with you.

Personally, I think most bald headed men are so due to natural reasons and I think it wouldn't be fair enough to conclude that they may not enter the kingdom of our creator which is not their own doing.

Well, I knew this article would be deemed controversial by many readers, just as you have stated. But then, controversy is not bad in itself since it means there are always two sides to an issue—a truth and a falsehood, right and wrong, wisdom and folly, etc—requiring careful thought and thorough critical examination to make a final determination of a stand that would be safe and beneficial for anyone so engaged.

So then, I am happy if I have stirred any controversy at all by this article, especially for my fellow truth-seekers like you who would love to do a " . . . deep critiquing and fair analysis with regards to getting closer to our Maker . . .", as you say. I pray you and all who are interested in analyzing my article will eventually settle on the truth with me.

Please, pardon me if I did not state the foundation of my concerns clear and strong enough for you to be convinced and to appreciate them, because of which you probably did not get the full import of my write-up to have necessitated your second comment! I shall, therefore, by this letter endeavor to make my thoughts on this very-important-but-seemingly-trivial-to-many issue about facial hairs clearer!!

And, by the way, issues that are common or popular with “believers” are not normally hinged on truth; so just beware of popular opinions, beliefs and practices among “believers”!

First and foremost, my understanding of the ways of Yahuwah Elohiym which I sought to share with readers of the article under reference was that He never does anything unwanted or undesirable by Him, useless to mankind, superfluous, or without which He could ever say emphatically that He has created a complete or made a full Creation!!

And as you know, my main focus in this regard was on facial hairs of men and why Yahuwah Elohiym made them to be a part of all men, and of His Creation, in the first place! Creation would have been incomplete without facial hairs; and without their full display by men who are supposed to act as His representatives in the whole Earth, it distorts and brings disharmony into all Creation, contrary to the will of the Creator!

Mankind must know that even today’s dreaded Ebola virus had to be created “in the beginning” by the Creator because of His love for mankind and in order for it to serve His purposes in providing a suitable echo-system for the safe and pleasant habitation of mankind! And so, the Creator, after He created the Ebola virus, saw it as one of His good products, pronounced it as such to be known by man, and added it to be an item on His list of properties on Earth!

Well, if mankind has problems with any Ebola virus today, he must seek to know why; the problem or fault must be from mankind, and not the Creator who created only good and necessary things for His own pleasure and mankind’s well-being!

Secondly, I know and so would love for all mankind to also know that anything the Creator has made, He has made them to forever remain so, eternally—for, His will and purpose is that His Creation must not change; and He therefore sustains everything He has made, by His never consuming, diminishing, or reducing power and strength, to forever remain as were created!

All flora and fauna are created with the innate ability to reproduce after their kind—cf. Beresheet (Genesis?) 1:11-12, 21-25—which are always the exact replica of the parent stock. Therefore, a goatee bearded mountain goat in the wild, when mature, is the same replica of its “father”; living with its inherited goatee beard throughout its lifespan to the pleasure and glory of its Creator!

As I mentioned in my article which drew your comments, Adam was the first man who ever lived on Earth, and is also the only man who landed on Earth, not as one of the usual babies known to have been born of woman after his coming to Earth, but as a mature adult who was well endowed with every kind of facial hairs known today; and so, he must look like his Maker and possess what it takes to represent Him as the ruler over all Creation on the Earth that was entrusted to him!

In due course, Adam also reproduced after his kind and had children in his own image, who, when they were mature, were as facially hairy and fully bearded as he’d been on his first day on Earth, all according to the eternal will, purpose, and also to the sole glory of Yahuwah Elohiym!! You see, this was the state and beauty of our Earth until a certain generation of mankind deemed itself to be “civilized” and thus even wiser than its Maker and began to act in opposition to His will and principles, even as touching on facial hairs!

Thirdly, I know that long after Creation, when mankind now considered himself wiser and more civilized than his Maker, he started to act contrary to the will and purpose of his Maker concerning His gift of facial hairs to him by shaving them off as a daily routine, or reconfiguring the borderlines of these hairs in opposition to what had already been established by Yahuwah Elohiym for him!!

Fourthly, I know that before mankind all over the Earth behaved abominably against the will of Elohiym in always shaving off his facial hairs, He took to Himself a man who was very well-endowed with facial hairs, by name Avraham, to eventually establish, out of him, a nation of only bearded men—whether, they were ordained to be Kohanim (priests?) in His service, neviim (prophets?) as His Information Ministers, melekhim (kings?) to rule over His people, or ordinary citizens, all of whom were given commandments in the Torah regarding their facial hairs to obey and live by!!

I quoted some of these Torah-laws regarding facial hairs in my article and led you to specific holy men who never did anything artificial as cut their hair with razors even as they dedicated all their facial hairs to their Maker as a mark of holiness! Sadly, you claim I never made any references from the Holy Ivrit Word of Yahuwah Elohiym to make my article convincing!

You see, even if there is only one verse in the Word of Elohiym, instructing mankind to keep their facial hairs in the manner I detailed in my article, you will have to agree with me that the breaking of just that one law would mean that ALL the entire Torah had been broken—cf. Yaakov (James?) 2:10!! Let me capture this verse here thus: For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all—RNKJVB.

So then, I am sad when you say among your comments, thus: “I think the beard issue was more of a culture than a particular way of life our creator would want us to live. This is a very trivial issue and it shouldn't be in the same line with a very serious sin like murder which blocks one's chance of entering into heaven”.

Please, there is no such thing as a trivial thing with regards to the law of Elohiym, since a violation of any one of all His laws draws death upon the offender, and neither is any one law more important than another! Just as every little thing that Elohiym creates bears all His wisdom and might and is very important to Him, for example facial hairs, so also are His seemingly little laws regarding the use and safeguarding of these hairs able to stir His anger to wrath when broken!

Dear Kyei, I think it is wrong for you to think that man should ONLY labor to keep himself pure and holy in not committing what you state as murder, or as would be guilty of a charge of sexual intercourse with fellow men or his own dogs, lying, stealing, and the like, which many people may deem to be the “big” sins which must be the ONLY ones that can bar one from being allowed into the presence of Yahuwah Elohiym in the soon-coming Eternity, and that the one will have free access even if he only falters by the Torah of Vayikra (Leviticus?) 19:27, 21:5 which I quoted in my article under reference!

In all my write-up in the article you commented on, right from its simple and clear title, to all my expressions, I think I was clear on what my beef was with men who artificially shave off all or parts of their facial hairs, reconfigure the borders of their facial hairs, or dye these hairs to their preferred colors, against their natural ones!

I never came close to saying anything to mean that men who are bald by nature would be barred from life in the presence of Yahuwah Elohiym in the soon-coming Eternity! So please, do not charge such a thought to my account; more so, when I do know of the account of a holy navi by name Elisha who was bald from natural courses and yet walked, in a very high anointing, with Yahuwah Elohiym—cf. Melekhim Beth (Second Kings?) 2:23-24.

I do however agree with you that the sporting of beards and all other facial hairs by men is a culture peculiar to Yisroel. I however disagree with you when you say our Creator does not want us (Goyim?) to also live by this culture. My reason for disagreeing is simple.

Don’t forget the Savior said in YahuKhanan (John??) 4:22 that “. . . for salvation is of the Jews and so, one must be an Ivri man to be blessed with the salvation of Elohiym. Again, if indeed one is in Elohiym’s salvation, one must of a truth be Ivri! For, to be in this salvation means for the one to be in Yahushua, the most illustrious of all Ivriim; and you cannot be in Yahushua and fail to manifest everything about him in particular, and of the culture of Ivriim in general, such as the sporting of beards! Please, can your spiritual eye picture a beardless or clean-shaven Savior??

Let us now look at your other comment which states thus: Again, I disagree with you when you say "YHWH (Note that YHWH, in fact, stands for Yahuwah)" because Yahuwah is the corrupted form of the original name YHWH which is without a vowel.

Dear Kyei, I think you are wrong by this comment. In fact, I will always accept correction from anyone and thank the one sincerely and profusely whenever my errors are pointed out to me. But, yes indeed, YHWH stands for Yahuwah (YaHuWaH, see?) just as I said, and I will explain this.

Obviously, you know that YHWH is not in Ivrit alephbeth, but in capitalized English alphabet!! The Ivrit alephbeth corresponding to YHWH is written from right to left, as and even though it is without any visible vowels in it, it is pronounceable ONLY as Yahuwah (or Yahuah) by anyone literate in Ivrit, because Ivrit words are always written without vowels and yet have intrinsic in all their consonant-only words vowel sounds that are discernible, and thus, all Ivrit words are pronounceable by their Ivrit-literate reader!

So then, YHWH is a transliteration of the written word, in some kind of alephbeth-alphabet equalization (an Ivrit-English arrangement), and not as an Ivrit sound that had to be transliterated using English alphabets so as to make it pronounceable by English readers or sound meaningfully in the ears of English listeners.

This is why YHWH can never be uttered; and it was deliberately made to be so by sages of Yisroel of old so Goyim (Gentiles) would never know and be able to utter the Ivrit name of the Most High One! If the transliteration were intended to be done so as to capture the sound of the Ivrit in English characters, then the only sound (word) which could ever emerge would be Yahuwah!

Even among the children of Yisroel in days long before the coming of Yahushua, they so revered the name that they discouraged its utterance among themselves and would normally refer to it as HaShem, meaning The Name, and hence the coining of YHWH to make the name of the Most High One unpronounceable by Goyim was a deliberate ploy!

May Elohiym be praised, what was uttered through the mouth of navi YirmeYahuthat even the Goyim would one day come to know the name of the Most High One—is now being fulfilled in our days—cf. YirmeYahu (Jeremiah??) 16:1-21!

Dear Kyei, I think it would be a little more factual to say YHWH is rather a corruption of than to say YHWH is original and that Yahuwah is its corrupted variant! The fact is that Yahuwah (when uttered by an English speaker) sounds the same as (when uttered by any Ivri man) and so Yahuwah must be as original as . My explanatory note placed in parenthesis in my article thus; (Note that YHWH, in fact, stands for Yahuwah) of which you picked issues regarding its correctness was, after all, on point and I was not in any way wrong!!

I hope my responses to your comments have been useful. Please let us continue the dialogue if you have further concerns. I must say I am very appreciative of our interactions in these questions and answers encounters because I believe we are by them reaching out to many more truth seekers and I pray we continue with them.
