The final funeral rite of the late mother of Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama will take place today, June 17, 2016, at Busunu in the West Gonja district of the Northern Region.
The burial was announced at the residence of the late Hajia Habiba Nnaba when the National Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharubutu led the Muslim community to say a prayer for the deceased.

Accompanied by his wife, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, daughter, Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, cousins, Michael Agbotui Soussoudis, Cann-Tamakloe and John Blagogee, the former first family commiserated with President John Mahama and the wife, Lordina Mahama.

President Mahama’s mother died on Tuesday, June 14 at the SSNIT Hospital.
