Accra, June 16, GNA - Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has expressed shock and sadness at the passing of Madam Abiba Nnaba, mother of President John Dramani Mahama, in Accra on Tuesday.
Former President Kufuor, who is currently in Stockholm, Sweden on a speaking engagement, has already called President Mahama to console him and the entire bereaved family.
A statement in Accra signed by Mr Frank Agyekum, Spokesperson of the former President and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Thursday, said: 'Former President Kufuor prays that the soul of Madam Nnaba will rest in peace'.
