Kumasi, Jan 10, GNA- The executive and members of the Danquah/Busia club, have sent a congratulatory message to President John Agyekum Kufuor on his re-election for a second term in office. "We wish to congratulate you on your victory in the December 7 elections and subsequent swearing in for a second term of office on January 7, 2005."
The message also congratulated Vice-President Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Mr Ebenezer Begyina Sekyi- Hughes, the new Speaker of Parliament, Mr Freddie Blay and Alhaji Malik Alhassan Yakubu, first and second Deputy Speakers of Parliament respectively and the entire members of the House. The message was conveyed on behalf of the members by Nana Sarfo Adu Amankwah, Chairman, Mr Nkrumah Fordjour, Vice-Chairman of the club and signed by Mr Y.K. Addai-Nsiah, the acting General Secretary.
It asked both winners and vanquished in Election 2004 to show magnanimity and equanimity and above all live in unity in diversity.
