As part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Priestly Ordination of Fr. Bonaventure K. K. Quaidoo, his classmates and friends, on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, attended a special programme at Spiritan Provincial House – Pantang, dubbed: “AN EVENING OF THANKSGIVING”.
This was to celebrate God's goodness to Rev. Fr. Quaidoo over these past years in the Lord's vineyard.
The homilist for the Thanksviving Mass was Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sekondi - Takoradi. Also concelebrating was Msgr. Samuel Kofi Batsa( former headmaster of Aquinas SHS, Accra and Fr. Francis Hammond, a classmate of the Jubilarian.
Rev. Fr. Quaidoo of the Adentan St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish in May 2015 celebrated his silver jubilee in priesthood with a commemorative Mass at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka.
He was ordained a priest in Tamale on May 12, 1990 by Peter Poreku Cardinal Dery, Archbishop Emeritus of Tamale (Deceased).
Rev. Fr. Quaidoo’s late APSUnian dad, Mr Patrick Kwame Kusi (PKK) Quaidoo, was a former Politician and Minister of State in the First republic.
Fr. Quaidoo is a member of the St. Augustine's Past Students Union (APSU) class of 1975.
