His message faxed through the Kumasi Office of the GNA said President Kufuor's decisive victory in the keenly contested election was an affirmation of confidence in his leadership by Ghanaians. It said "I have every reason to believe that Your Excellency will continue to pursue the path of uniting and reconciling the people of our dear country through your policy of all inclusive government. I therefore, wish you God's guidance and protection so that your last four-year term becomes a big success".
