Miss Ghana Pageant to host Chicago Xmas Dance

GHANAWEB CHRISTMAS DANCE IN CHICAGO ATTRACTS THE BEST D.J'S AND EMCEE'S. ……Former GBC TV and Miss Ghana Pageant host will emcee! Dance lovers attending the historic Christmas dance in Chicago at 61st and Michigan on Saturday December 11 2004 will not only be supporting a worthy cause to generate funds for Children's summer camp but also witness one of the best in both DJ music and Emceeing in the United States.

Whilst D.J Yeboah and Sam Q are battling for the best D.J in the Midwest, three emcees', the best Ghanaian emcees around, will be in the middle to see to the smooth running of the program.

Mr. Emmanuel Papafio, popularly known as Chicago mayor, has been emceeing for more than twenty years. A naturally gifted orator, he has been the choice for emcee at almost any big event in Chicago, including Ghanafest. He has been called upon to emcee at various events in Chicago and other states.

Sally Owusu-Gottfried has emceed at many occasions in Chicago, a banker by profession; she is one of the lovely voices you would like to hear at a function.

Mrs. Jennifer Nartey, formerly of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (G.B.C) and Radio D.J at G.A.R FM station in Ghana will be in attendance. She has hosted TV programs such as 2nd generation and music for you, both popular TV programs in Ghana.

Amongst her repertoires was the hosting of Miss Ghana pageants in all ten regions in Ghana and was dubbed the media whiz kid. She has hosted programs for state diplomats, company dinner dances and award nights, church programs, wedding receptions, outdoorings and many other programs whilst in Ghana.

Currently in the U.S.A, she has a diploma in radio D.J programming from the School of radio and television in Albany, upstate New York. Since she arrived in Chicago, she has been the "sweet voice" at wedding receptions and award dinner nights in Chicago as well as other states in the U.S.A.
