Huawei Sign Messi As Product Ambassador

Huawei Technologies has signed a three year contract deal with Argentine professional footballer and Barcelona striker, Lionel Andres Leo Messi as the ambassador for its products.

The five times FIFA Player of the Year/FIFA Ballon d'Or winner's contract deal was sealed last Thursday, March 17, 2016, to project the image of Huawei at the international front, as well as give consumers new experience with the football star.

This was made when Huawei Technologies Ghana launched one of its newest Smartphones, Huawei G Power to address phone usage needs of Ghanaian youths. The solution handset, Huawei G Power, gives the user optimum Smartphone features; including 13 mega pixels back camera and 5 mega pixels front camera that consumers can clearly take shots and selfie at their comfort.

Also, the phone comes with a voice control shooting, where users can instruct the camera to take pictures with their voice. The G Power Smartphone, which was purposely designed to perform multitask, and still save its battery for days was launched at the Kempinski Hotel, over the weekend in Accra.

Many invited guest at the event were astonished of the features and abilities of the Smartphone, as its power-saving technology uses eight separate power-optimization approaches that enables the phone to work in idle mode for 24 hours with only 10% remaining.

Robin Sun,  Country Manager for Huawei technologies Ghana briefing the gathering of the functions of the Huawei G Power said the smartphone promises hi-tech power conservation with unrivalled long-lasting battery performance which can last without charging for two days of heavy usage and more than three days light usage.

“With Huawei G Power, you have long-lasting battery life to help you achieve your goals. At Huawei, we are redefining 'smart' to the world and bringing convenience too,” he added. Mr. Sun further indicated that the Smartphone has memory capacity of 2GB RAM and 16 ROM, giving users superb speed and performance which ensures it doesn't slow down even while multitasking or running several applications simultaneously.
