FEB 6, 2016 LISTEN

Music Producer Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, known in the music circles as Bulldog, is pleading with the Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho, to punish the Member of Parliament for Assin North in the Central Region, Kennedy Agyapong.

Kennedy Agyapong, has been involved in a war of words with radio personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, over the past few weeks.

Afia Schwarzenegger in an audio making rounds on social media used abusive words on Mr.Agyapong for allegedly insulting the mother and siblings of President John Dramani Mahama over what he calls the President's abysmal performance.

Kennedy Agyapong replied Afia Schwarzenegger by calling her a prostitute and drug addict. He also accused her of bed wetting.

He has subsequently vowed to release naked photos of Afia Schwarzenegger, some of which have started making rounds on Facebook and some news portals.

Afia Schwarzenegger, a radio presenter with Okay FM, used her radio programme to spew the most unprintable words against the MP.

In a Facebook post earlier today [Saturday], Bulldog expressed concern about the behavior of the no-nonsense MP, Kennedy Agyapong.

According to the music producer, the MP dragged Parliament's reputation in “the stinking Ghanaian gutters” by his actions and thus deserves to be sanctioned by the Speaker of the House.

“…as a tax paying citizen and a son of our beloved motherland, I pray the house will subpoena the then HONOURABLE member of parliament for Assin Central now DISHONOURABLE Kennedy Agyapong, to your brain trust… for hauling your HONOURABLE house's reputation into the stinking Ghanaian gutters by his recent DISHONOURABLE public outburst on tax payers he's suppose to be working for.”

Below is his full statement:

AN HONOURABLE APPEAL TO THE HONOURABLE SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT

HONOURABLE Speaker of parliament, I am a passport holder of this great nation and reside in Adabraka, I am a young man in my late thirties, a stake holder in the Ghanaian entertainment industry and a contributor to the GNP of this great land. In my field of work, I hoist the flag of mother Ghana high and will continue to do so, so help me God.

Not too long ago, your HONOURABLE disciplinary council summoned a member of my fraternity before it, in the name of Blakk Rasta, about demeaning and pejorative comments he passed against the HONOURABLE house and it's membership on day time radio.

I was part of a sect that thought you did right by the books to tame his disrespectful and shameful tongue to restore some decency in the entertainment industry and the general public as a whole.

It's in one's prayer that your HONOURABLE house has in its bill of rights, disciplinary actions against members that bring the name of the house to DISHONOUR.

It's my hope that, at the swear-in ceremony members' allegiance to the HONOURABLE house was spelt out explicitly in the swear-in piece.

I am not in an HONOURABLE position to tell your HONOURABLE house how to go about it's HONOURABLE functions.

But as a tax paying citizen and a son of our beloved motherland, I pray the house will subpoena the then HONOURABLE member of parliament for Assin Central now DISHONOURABLE Kennedy Agyapong, to your brain trust.

For hauling your HONOURABLE house's reputation into the stinking ghanaian gutters by his recent DISHONOURABLE public outburst on tax payers he's suppose to be working for.

As a statesman, and an all-important office occupant, no amount of egging on should get an egghead like him to descend this low.

HONOURABLE Speaker please don't get me wrong, we all have rights in this country and the DISHONOURABLE member of the legislative assembly is no exception. Maybe if he was a commoner of this great nation of ours his exclamations could be forgivable.

Regrettably for the Ghanaian tariff payer he's a DISHONOURABLE member of parliament who is payed to discharge his public services HONOURABLY.

Again, I am not in an HONOURABLE position to ask your HONOUR to gag members of parliament, but humbly plead that they are reminded to speak with seemliness to hold your house in HONOUR.

Action must be taken to set a precedent for members and aspiring members. If candidates are not morally and ethically fit for the high position they've been elected to occupy, it calls into query the HONOURABILITY of the entire HONOURABLE assembly.

If action is not taken, soon the public and the rest of the world may look down on your HONOURABLE house DISHONOURABLY.

Parliament is the most high office of any nation and as such its occupants must conduct themselves in accordance with what the office is instituted for.

We can't have DISHONOURABLES in HONOURABLE positions. Thank you mister HONOURABLE SPEAKER.

I know he's human and liable to err, so I took time to find synonyms to the word: HONOURABLE, to jog the memory of the DISHONOURABLE member of the legislative assembly.

an honorable man: honest, moral, ethical, principled, righteous, right-minded; decent, respectable, estimable, virtuous, good, upstanding, upright, worthy, noble, fair, just, truthful, trustworthy, law-abiding, reliable, reputable, creditable, dependable.

WE LOOK UP TO YOU AS ROLE MODELS AND SHALL IMITATE YOU.
