CAL lifts GSE after a string of losses

Accra, Nov. 24, GNA - The second trading of CAL Merchant Bank (CAL) on the Ghana Stock Exchange lifted up the bourse that has been hit by a string of losses.

CAL gained 450 cedis at 2,500 cedis helping to push up the main stock index, the GSE All-Share Index, by 29.48 points to 6,743.68 points.

The other gainer of the day was Patterson Zochonis (PZ), which gained five cedis at 4,605 cedis.

Total shares traded were at 195,900 while change for the year was 89.78 per cent.

Market capitalisation ended at 96,764.38 billion cedis from 3,580.79 million issued shares.
