Ghanaian winger Maxwell Boadu Acosty second-half strike gave Latina a 1-0 win over Pro Vercelli in the Serie B on Saturday.
The 24-year-old sneaked in the match winner just after the hour mark to give the home side the much-needed victory to lift them on the table.
Acosty was scoring his seventh goal of the season in 22 appearances.
Latina are now 11 th on the table, two places away from the playoff mark.
