Prosecuting, Assistant Superintendent of Police Godfried Anim told the court presided over by Mr Jacob Boon that on August 21, this year, at 1215 hours, Amagyei was driving a vehicle with registration number GR 1618 P, from Konongo to Juaso.

He said on reaching the outskirt of Juaso, where construction work was going on, the accused, following other vehicles were flagged to stop by the construction company's signalman.

As the flagman stopped the vehicles from the Konongo direction, Amagyei who was in the traffic disregarded the signal, drove at top speed and hit an open saloon car that was in front of him, causing damage to both vehicles and injuring two persons in the car. ASP Anim said in the course of investigations, Amagyei could not produce a valid driving licence.
