Saltpond Nov.16, GNA - Saltpond NICPSD played a highly spirited game to beat Yamoransa Power Dynamos 2-0 in their Second Division League match at Saltpond on Sunday.
NICPSD started the match in a whirlwind fashion and scored the opener in the 21st minute through centre forward, Awudu Adama.
On resumption of the second half, Power Dynamos forced their opponents to play in their own half for greater parts of the game to defend their lone goal but their hopes of drawing level were shattered when against the run of play, outside right, Samuel Cann increased the tally to two for NICPSD in the 75th minute.
Other results were, Oguaa United lost 0- 2 to Twifo Praso Akumpreko while Mankessim Mir FC drew 1 - 1 with Edukuma Heaven Angels.
