Aggrey Secondary School qualify for finals

Cape Coast, Nov.16, GNA - Aggrey Memorial Zion Secondary school beat Adisadel College 2-0 to qualify for the finals of the Central Region Inter Schools and Colleges Zone 1 Soccer league match at the Cape Coast Sports stadium on Monday.

Adisadel College were unfortunate to lose two of their players when Emmanuel Mensah and Daniel Adjei were red carded for dangerous play and paved the way for their eventual elimination.

After a goalless first half, the Aggrey School lads took absolute control of the game and scored two rapid goals through centre half, Hadi Seidu and midfielder Abaka Bosu to carry the day. In another semi-final match, Cape Coast Technical School pipped Edinaman Secondary School 1-0.

The only goal of the match was scored by inside right Atta Yorke in the 15th minute.

In another development, Asuansi Technical Institute beat St Augustine's College 1-0 to qualify for the finals of Zone 3.
