Babatokuma roots for NPP

By GNA

Babatokuma (B/A), Nov. 15, GNA - The people of Babatokuma, near Kintampo in the Brong-Ahafo Region have appealed to Ghanaians to renew the mandate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to enable the party to complete its projects.

They made the appeal at the launch of the Kintampo North Constituency campaign of the NPP.

The people said the community, for the past three-and-half-years of the NPP administration, had witnessed development projects and advised people in the area to rally behind the NPP to enable the Party to retain power.

They said the community was beset with problems such as poor environmental conditions as well as dilapidated educational and health facilities that impacted negatively on the living conditions of the people and commended NPP government for saving the community from such a situation.

Mr Isaac Kwabena Sarkodie Boahen, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Constituency, urged people in the area to vote massively for the Party to ensure a landslide victory in Election 2004.

Mr James Kwabena Bomfeh, Kintampo District Chief Executive, said the NPP government had constructed 550 toilets, 1,100 telephone lines, 40 schools and 115 boreholes in the District within the past three years.
