Takoradi, Dec. 26, GNA - Christians have been advised to remain calm and resolute in the face of storms in life and ask for God's will and direction in all situations.

Reverend Jonathan Yao Amoa, Acting President of Holyfire International Churches, said this during a sermon on Christmas Day.

He said Jesus Christ is a gift from God whose birth brought joy, peace on earth and reconciled man to God.

Reverend Amoa said Christmas is the season for remembering the birth of Jesus Christ and tasked Christians to lead lives worthy of emulation.

He said the gifts such as gold, incense and myrrh presented to Jesus Christ at his birth at Bethlehem by the wise men from the east symbolized his godliness and anointing adding that this should also transform and reflect in the lives of those who believe in him.
