Tamale, Nov. 7, GNA - Dr Edmond Delle, National chairman of the Convention People's Party (CPP) has called on politicians to stop the habit of using lies as the only means of convincing the electorate for winning political power.

He said, "as politicians, if we tell the people the truth and vote for us even during hardships is better than promising the electorate heaven on earth when in actual fact we cannot fulfil" adding that CPP would not preach lies but the truth to the people.

Dr Delle said this when he met with the leadership of the party in Tamale on Saturday to see how best the leadership could use their experience to help rebuild the party to win the December polls.
