The Panache For Political Persecution In The Npp Is Unconstitutional, Filthy And Criminal

A political party that is so intolerant to the extent that any party member who is heard dissenting or freely expressing his/her independent democratic thoughts, dissimilar to that of the leadership is considered an enemy, is surely, not a political party that is worth dying for.

Dr. Wereko Brobbey, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, Dr. Arthur Kwabena Kennedy, Paul Afoko, Kwabena Agyapong, Sammy Crabbe and many others have all suffered for democratically speaking their minds.

A leader who is always quick to covertly, through his aides, associates or assigns, instigate to be ousted and or suspended those he does agree with in his team/group can never be a good, tolerant and productive leader. The NPP has today, derailed into a bottomless pit of disarray, egotism, intolerance, political extremism in terms of its leadership style and cohesion from the days when former President John Kuffour was the leader of the Danquah-Busia minus Dombo party.

Respectfully but sadly that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's divide and rule schemes as well as his arrogant and intolerant demeanour as a leader of the NPP are clear idiosyncrasies of a bad leader and definite confirmations that such a personality cannot handle Ghana.

I am letdown by those NPP supporters, assigns and praise singers of the NPP flagbearer who have continued to shamelessly hallucinate of Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo ever becoming the president of Ghana. This is not a matter of one’s opinion but a fact per historical antecedents that such a political disaster cannot win political power in this country.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who could not even manage a constituency as an MP, performed awfully as a minister under the Kufour administration, has only succeeded in planting pandemonium and unrest in the NPP fraternity, is never a team player can only be but be a terrible leader.

A good leader is one who can engage in a debate frankly and thoroughly with all sides of the divide, knowing that at the end, he and the other side must be closer, and thus emerge stronger. One cannot become a visionary leader when he is largely known to be arrogant, devious, and highly opinionated. No arrogant and intolerant person is fit to lead Ghana.

What would happen to constitutional and independent office holders who will express dissenting opinions as and when they disagree on matters that are essential to the people’s good with the President?

The panache for political persecution in the NPP is unconstitutional, filthy and criminal. This shameful and unethical padding of the NPP leadership with friends, praise-singers, boot-lickers and buddies who are equally intolerant, arrogant, pretenders and bullies obsessed by their longing for political power only for inappropriate and dishonorable gains will further send the NPP into deeper political anarchy. Ghana needs a united and focused political opposition to further deepen our democracy; indeed the concern of many well-meaning Ghanaians.

Ghana surely deserves better; not the likes of the NPP flagbearer and his hungry allies. Ghana has come far; it’s currently being transformed for the good of the people and maintaining the status quo for the forward transformation to evolve should be our drive and focus.
