All Set for the Patriotic Ambassadors for Peace (PAP) Maiden Conference on Saturday, 07-11-2015!

Dear Patriots,
As published in the media a couple of weeks back, this new pressure group, "Patriotic Ambassadors for Peace" (PAP) with its root in Kumasi, is gradually making its presence felt on the Ghanaian politics landscape. This is a true indication that a lot of Ghanaians in general, and NPP supporters in particular, have embraced PAP's objective of bringing peace in the NPP, bridging the class gap, and canvassing for votes for Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP all Parliamentary Candidates to win power in 2016. As of last week, 200 NPP supporters all over the country had shown interest and registered to be part of the group. The number is however, expected to hit over 10,000 due to the incessant calls that keep coming from all corners of the country and the structures that we are putting in place. Let me hasten to say kudos to all those who have called and made commitment to PAP's cause.

In line with PAP's objective of helping Nana Akufo-Addo win power, the Group members would be focusing on outreach programmes in the rural areas. They would take time to educate voters on proper and right voting procedures and processes to reduce the number of rejected ballots; explain in simple terms to the potential voters the vision of the party's Presidential Candidate; highlight the NPP's record of achievements between 2001 and 2009; and more importantly, bring to the fore the massive corruption and mediocrity handed on our necks by this inept Mahama-led NDC government.

It is PAP's belief that, come next year when the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections are held, Nana Akufo-Addo would emerge victorious and the NPP would have majority of seats in Parliament to form the next government. It is sad to note that Ghana, a country that has been blessed with so many natural resources - gold, cocoa, oil, and human capital cannot find the right balance between the human resources and natural resources. This has made majority of us poor and this is what Nana Akufo-Addo finds it difficult to accept as normal. He posits; "God did not put us on this rich land for us to be poor. It is bad leadership that is making us poor. Corruption is what has brought us poverty".

It is in light of the above that, PAP is born to complement Nana Addo's effort. We cannot experience another four (4) years of Mahama's leadership - a leadership that has no sense of direction; a leadership that is only interested in creating, looting, and sharing the national resources among its cronies; a leadership that has plunged the whole country into darkness for over 6 years; and a leadership that continues to mess our once booming economy. We must have a change in government at all cost to bring hope to Ghanaians. Nana Addo has promised to build a "New Ghana", where our economy would see structural transformation, industrialization; better education system, and improved healthcare system to accommodate the teeming unemployed graduates.

Kindly, join the crusade to make Nana Addo the president of Ghana. We are having our maiden conference on Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Kumasi to elect National Executives, Regional Coordinators, and to inaugurate the Group officially in our specially-made PAP T-Shirts. The time is between 12pm and 4pm. All are cordially invited, but patriots interested must register their participation first to be directed at the venue of the Conference.
