Accra, Oct. 18, GNA- The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on Monday commended organisations that have, over the years and in recent weeks offered scholarships to children and wards of their workers.

It said the Ministry was gladdened that Golden Tulip Accra (GTA) has also offered scholarships to 22 new entrants to primary, secondary and tertiary institutions this year, bringing to 67, the number of staff children benefiting from the GTA's scholarship programme since it was instituted in 2000.

The Ministry extolled these organisations and entreated the beneficiaries to work hard and reciprocate the sweat and toil of their parents and guardians, who made the scholarships possible.
