Accra, Oct 14, Heritage -- The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Papa Owusu Ankomah, has hinted that the trial of suspects connected to the murder of Ya-Na Yakubu Andani ll is far from over.
In an interview with THE HERITAGE, Justice Minister said, “The case is not dead. The police are still investigating and suspects will certainly be arraigned before the court.”
He urged citizens who have evidence related to the communal violence that erupted in the Dagbon area and the subsequent death of the Ya-Na to report to the police.
According to him rumours and allegations from politicians will not help. He said “every responsible citizen including politicians is duty bound to give evidence to the police during their investigations.”
