Drama engulfs Ghana's Most Beautiful eviction

Accra, Sept. 8, GNA - The ninth edition of the TV3's Ghana's Most Beautiful (GMB) reality show recorded a surprised casualty with the eviction of Ms Nimatu Handoun Ibrahim, Upper West Regional representative from the pageant.

Incidentally the region is the reigning champion of the reality show.

The first evictions of GMB 2015 reality show also witnessed the expulsion of the Greater Accra representative Naa Kai Tettey.

The eviction night saw Central Region's Vera Oheneba Esi Safoah being adjudged the star performer of the night whilst Eastern Region's Adjoa Afariwa Dawson was decorated as the most eloquent with Ashanti Region's Maame Akosua Ayiwa Sika emerging as the most disciplined.

The reality show judges went through a difficult mental gymnastics to save two contestants; Mr David Dontoh threw in a lifeline to save Western Regional representative Maame Araba Sabina Hayford while Ms Linda Ampah pull out Northern Regional representative Ms Ayesha Iddrisu Mahama from the eviction burning fire.

The eviction river therefore swept away Ms Ibrahim and Naa Tettey. Emotionally disrupted and surprised Ms Ibrahim confessed that: 'I was not expecting to be evicted but that is it, I take it in good faith.

I will forge ahead in life and come out a better person.

'I am sad but it is part of the game. From here I will go back to school, work and raise funds and focus on my project'.

The 2015 GMB first eviction show was dubbed: 'Night of Lullabies,' as the regional beauty pageants used the platform to educate the scores of spectators who throng TV3 studios to support their respective candidate as well as thousands of viewers as it was beam live alike on the history and reasons behind Ghanaian traditional lullabies.
