Dhaka, Bangladesh - At 3 pm on August 28th 2015, Heavenly culture, World peace, Restoration of Light(“HWPL”) and Shamsul Hoque Khan School&College co-hosted the third World Alliance of Religions’ Peace Office meeting at Shamsul Hoque Khan School&College in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

About 37 people attended WARP office meeting, and its purpose was to do peace work for unifying the religious scriptures through the continuous dialogue of religious scriptures with respective religious leaders.

Since the WARP summit was hosted by HWPL in September 2014 in Seoul Korea, the WARP offices of HWPL have been established globally with 85 offices in 51 countries.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL said the purpose of WARP Office: “The harmony of religion was not achieved with just word. And religious leaders who attended WARP summit have established WARP Office and considered the most reliable one of religious scriptures through the meeting.” According to the purpose, the WARP Office opened in Bangladesh.

Recently the HWPL's WARP Office have received honorable reputation from UN and other religious organizations as the most necessary peace organization to end war and bring world peace. Thus, WARP office is expected to greatly contribute to making peace a reality in Bangladesh.

In the dialogue, Supriananda Srama, representative of Buddhism said, “I firmly believe that in the context the present situation of the world the need of WARP is undeniable. Through the message of peace and harmony, WARP can refrain man from doing unwise acts such as conflict or war among the themselves as a Buddhist monk. I will try my best to spread the message of Peace and solidarity among the people.”

In the past under the rule of Pakistan, Bangladesh was in the hostile relation between Hindu and Islam with frequent religious wars. After the independence of 1971, the conflict in religion was not solved and resulted in the civil war between Bangladesh and Pakistan for 20 years and on 1992 the war called a truce. In 1997 the government and rebels arranged a peace agreement, however the clash has continued.

HWPL WARP Office will be the new center for peace in Bangladesh by reenacting the case in Mindanao Philippine. HWPL mediated to cease 40-year religious conflicts and made a peace agreement on January 2014 in Mindanao. After arranging the agreement, HWPL showed the result of its peace work that last June the MILF decided to turn in the weapons voluntarily.
