Otabilkrom, (C/R), Sep. 1, GNA - Mrs Cynthia Morrison, Agona West Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has presented 10 bags of cement and some packets of roofing sheets to the Adasemase and Otsenkorang Nsunanna communities for the construction of their schools.

Mr Kofi Osei, Constituency Organizer of the party who presented the building materials on behalf of Mrs Morrison, said the cement would assist residents of Adesemase, near Otabilkrom, a suburb of Agona Swedru, to construct a kindergarten for their kids.

He said the donation was in response to a request made by the residents for the materials to build a structure for the kg, to stop their kids from walking long distance to attend school at Otabilkrom.

Mr Osei who was accompanied by Mrs Florence Yamoah, Aspiring Assemblywoman for Agona Swedru Nkubem/Otapirow Electoral Area, said education and health care were the top priority of the people of Agona West.

Mr Solomon Ahuma, an Aspiring Assemblyman for Otabilkrom who received the cement on behalf of the people of Adasemanse, thanked Mrs Morrison for the gesture.

He appealed to the people to vote massively for him during the District Assembly elections, to help improve the area's development.

Mr Osei said the roofing sheets donated to Otsenkorang Nsunann would also facilitate the completion of their abandoned school started by the former MP Mr Samuel Kweku Obodai.

He said at the moment, the children were attending school under palm frond shed and trees, and stressed the need to complete the abandoned structures to house the pupils.
