Truck pusher remanded for dealing in hemp

Tema, Sept 23, GNA - The Tema Circuit Court 'B' has remanded a truck pusher for possessing 33 parcels of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.

Ali Yakubu Guntu pleaded not guilty to the charge and will re-appear on October 5.

Police Inspector Ben Agbedanu told the court that on September 19 the police had a tip-off that three men were dealing in Indian hemp at site one.
